| I have been a client of Flagstar Bank for 6 years now, and have received nothing but the best service possible. They have my home mortgage, and the loan officer was nothing but helpful and educated me through the entire home buying process. I have never had any issues with the servicing of my loan, and my payments have always posted in a timely manner and there has never been a day where I haven't been extremely satisfied with my decision use Flagstar Bank. | Good, Just Don't Fall Behind |
They are great as long as you dont get behind because they will call you daily starting 2 days after your payment is due(supposedly a courtesy) and continue that with daily letters daily after 5 days past your due date,then they dont seem to care at all as far as working something out with you unless maybe you are all the way to foreclsure status (hopefully I wont get that far). |

Wow. After going through ten hoops to get approved with this so-called awesome company I can only say that there is much to be desired. Some joke of an underwriter named Anna was so professional ( like company like employee) that she hung up on my when I called to complain that their online system never reflects what is ACTUALLY going on, the AE's DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, and then upper level management asks for conditions and then when you meet them counters with MORE conditions. If they do not want the loan NY IT AND DONT PLAY GAMES WITH ME AND MY STAFF! |
| How Easy can it Get? |
I have used Flagstar for years and never had the problems.. Our Account rep told us 6 months ago that the appraisal reveiw was going to get tough and to not have a problems all we have to do is use one of thier national appraisal companies that they recommend because those companies insure the appraisal then Flagstar would never do a BPO or review. And since then I have done that and never have a problem with the appraisal, as for thier web site maybe you do not know how to use it. All you have to do is upload the 1003, registar the loan and fax in the loan package and within sometimes an hour all the docs you sent in are available for you to see, then you get notified now within 8 hours via e-mail that the loan is approved then go into the site and click on conditions and pull them up. If you have conditions, you fax them in and within another 8 or so hours you get an e-mail saying the loan is approved so again just go into the web site and continue, and so forth and so forth. Since we are a correspondant lender we order the docs and funding. How easy can you get. |
